New Candy Specials

These customer specials have just rolled out of the Davida workshop – a set of Candy painted Speedsters. Candy colours are intense and transparent which give a colour shift under bright lights or sunlight.

Candy is a very interesting paint, both in its effect and its history.

Although Joe Bailon was the first to apply a Candy Red paintwork it was legendary car customiser, Mel Pinoli in 1955 who applied the first Candy paint job.

Candy Red was inspired by the lustre and vibrancy of a car tail light reflected on the rainy street – very brilliant, giving a glow deep within itself.
